Day 18: Bold

Jan 22, 2026

SCRIPTURES

Acts 5:29

DEVOTIONAL

We are naturally concerned with what others think and expect of us, wanting to keep the peace and please everyone. But what happens when what Christ

calls us to upsets, offends, or just differs from others? In these moments we remember the words here of the Apostle Peter, to always obey God, not other

people or pursuits. to obey God with boldness and conviction is to trust that wherever God leads us is exactly where we’re meant to be - even if it leads to

something difficult. We’ve been called to remember that we belong to the God of the universe, and there is nothing that another person can do or say to us that

can change that. Trust Jesus, boldly follow Him wherever He leads, and find joy in obedience to Him.

PRAYER POINTS

Personal Prayer Points

1. Pray that God would show us where we still live in fear of people, instead of trust in God.

2. Ask God for boldness to live for Him with confidence and faith.

Radiant Church Prayer Points

1. Pray that Radiant Church would seek to honor God alone, and not the world around us.

2. Pray that we would be a church who shines the light of the Jesus in the darkness around us.
