Luke 6:46-49

DEVOTIONAL

As we follow Jesus we learn to submit to Him as Lord of our life. What He says is what we ought to do; how He calls us to live is the way we should live; what He

teaches and declares is what is actually true. Therefore, even if it’s hard to receive or if it bucks against our desires and understanding, we still surrender in trust in Jesus our Lord. As we do, Jesus promises it will be like building on

the firm rock foundation, never to be washed away by the rising waters of confusion and chaos of the world around us. To trust and follow Jesus as Lord is to trust and follow the only one capable and worthy to lead us, our Solid Rock.

PRAYER POINTS

Personal Prayer Points

1. Pray that God would plant our lives on the firm foundation of Jesus, not anything else in this world.

2. Pray that we would learn to surrender all to Him.
