Day 12: Expect

Jan 16, 2026

SCRIPTURE

Mark 9:23

DEVOTIONAL

Expectation shapes how we pray and how we move forward. When disappointment lingers, expectation can quietly fade. We begin to pray cautiously rather than boldly. Jesus reminds us that belief opens the door for God’s power to move. Fasting reignites expectancy by reminding us of God’s

limitless ability. Today, ask God to restore a sense of holy expectation in your heart. Dare to believe Him again for transformation, healing, and direction. As a

church, expectancy fuels faith and prepares us to recognize God’s work among us.
