Prayer Focus - Our world

Prayer

Until Jesus returns, darkness and evil will fight with whatever little might they have left to deceive and destroy people. For us who believe in Jesus, we have confidence in this fight, because our Savior has risen victorious, He has already won, and He is fighting for us and in us moment by moment.

We fight a winning battle. But we must fight - we must be aware of the temptations of the world around us. We are called to be light in the world, because those who don’t believe in Jesus don’t have the hope or confidence we have. Their battle is a losing one - and they aren’t even aware the battle is even taking place.

As we pray for our world, we ask that God would create in us a desire to speak the light, life, and truth of Jesus into every relationship and circumstance in which we find ourselves, bringing the lost into the saving arms of Jesus. We pray that the goodness of our God and His Kingdom would continue to push back against the evil influence of the antichrist in the world. We pray that the church of Jesus across the world would proclaim our Savior with boldness, clarity, and love.
