Day 3: Sin Has Been Nullified

Nov 12, 2025

Jesus appeared "once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin." The phrase "put away" means to nullify, to make void, to refuse to recognize its validity. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus declared to all creation that sin no longer has power over those who are in Him.

Do you live like this is true? Or do you still act as though some temptations are too strong, some sins too entrenched? Christ hasn't just forgiven your sin—He's broken its power. When you feel sin's pull, remember: those chains have already been broken. You're not fighting for victory; you're fighting from victory. The Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, giving you power to say no to sin and yes to righteousness. You are no longer sin's slave.

Reflection Questions:

- Are there sins or temptations you still feel powerless against?

- How can you shift your mindset from fighting for victory to fighting from the victory already won?

Application Points:

- Identify an area in your life where you feel captive to sin and declare Jesus’ victory over it in prayer.

- Consider memorizing Romans 8:1-4 to remind yourself of the power you have in Christ.
