Day 5: Christ, Our Courage

Jul 31, 2026

Jesus is the Word made flesh. He is the full and final revelation of God. He spoke creation into existence, and He entered creation to speak grace and truth to us.

Jesus spoke against injustice, evil, hypocrisy, deception, sin, and death. He spoke with compassion to the broken, with authority to demons, with mercy to sinners, and with power over the grave. He did not retreat into silence, even when silence would have spared Him suffering.

At the cross, Jesus gave Himself for our sin. Through His resurrection, He defeated death. Now He is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. He speaks on our behalf as our Savior, Advocate, and King.

Because Jesus did not give in to silence, we are not left to resist silence in our own strength. His grace covers our failures. His Spirit empowers our obedience. His presence gives courage. His intercession holds us fast when we feel weak.

We speak because Christ has spoken for us. We speak because Christ is with us. We speak because Christ is worthy.
