Markela Quin - Ivory Coast

Markela first felt the call to missions at the age of 19. After 4 years of waiting, training, learning, and growing in Jesus, God opened the door for her to go on her first missions trip to Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Africa. There, she fell in love with missions and with the people and culture of Ivory Coast.

Markela's goal is to partner with the local churches of Cote d'Ivoire to help establish and grow their kids and youth ministries. As a children's and youth worker at her home church for over 5 years, Markela has a heart for seeing kids and teens grow in their faith and walk with God. She hopes to guide the next generation of Ivoirian children and youth towards a closer walk with Jesus as well.

May have found a home church I can start going to and being plugged into! Hopefully with their kids program
