Daniel & Sara Bricker - Cambodia

About Us

We have a heart to reach the never reached in Cambodia through developing relationships and planting churches where they have never existed. We desire to build fruitful relationships that the Lord will use to produce healthy disciples and healthy churches in Cambodia. We love Cambodia and its people! We are so honored and humbled to be missionaries to such a special country.

Who We Are
Sara graduated from the University of Valley Forge in 2017. During her time there God called her to missions. After graduating she served in Costa Rica for 2 years as a Missionary Associate. When praying about what was next, God reminded her of the never reached parts of the world, some of which being in Cambodia. God opened the doors for her to serve as a Career Missionary in Cambodia for 1 year before getting married.

Daniel served as a Youth Pastor for 5 years in St. Thomas, Pennsylvania before hearing the call of God to reach the nations. In 2020 God began to change the trajectory into a call to serving in Missions and he heard the Holy Spirit simply say, "Will you go?". It was through these quiet times with the Lord and meeting Sara that God began to put the puzzle pieces into place that would open the door to serve in Cambodia.

Ministry Update:
Sara and I have both just celebrated our graduation from language school - it’s been a long process but we’re finally able to begin to have meaningful conversations with those around us. Next March we will move to the unreached province of Svay Rieng; a place with very few believers and no active church or discipleship happening. Until we move we are continuing to disciple a young high school couple that have been believers for just over a year. They are excited and growing in their faith but one of the biggest challenges we face is guiding them in their interactions with their Buddhist families. They want to serve Jesus and respect their family so it is difficult when they are forced to go to the temple and burn incense or give offerings. We just keep encouraging them to seek wisdom from God so that their families eyes will be opened as well.

Upcoming Projects:
We will move in March and begin to develop relationships with our neighbors, schools and others in our community. Working in such an unreached place means that most of the people in these communities have never heard the name Jesus before so it can be a long process of discipleship. Trust and relationships are so important in Cambodia so generally people won’t open up until they trust you which for us means building genuine long-term relationships before they become truly receptive to the Gospel. Of course we know that God can do more with a few words than we can with many, so we are just continuing to believe that God will move on their hearts and give them revelations of who He is. We are so expectant for what God will do among those that have never heard!
