Day 5: Living in God's Grace

May 9, 2025

The story of Achan in Joshua ends with severe consequences. But we live under a new covenant, sealed by the blood of Jesus. Where Achan's sin brought death, Christ's death brings us life - even when we fail.

God's grace doesn't excuse our sin or our idols. Instead, it empowers us to face them honestly and lay them down without fear. We don't have to hide or prove ourselves anymore. In Christ, we are already approved, chosen, and loved.

This grace invites us into a new way of living. We're no longer driven by the need to perform or control. Instead, we're free to rest in God's love and step into the good works He has prepared for us. Our weaknesses become opportunities for God's strength to shine through.

Reflect: How might fully embracing God's grace change the way you approach your daily life? Your relationships? Your calling?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace. Help me to receive it fully and extend it generously to others. May Your strength be perfected in my weakness as I learn to rely on You more each day.
