Day 3: Perseverance in Doing Good
It's easy to grow weary in doing good, especially when we don't see immediate results. Paul encourages us not to give up, reminding us that we will reap a harvest if we don't lose heart. Sometimes, the most challenging part of faith isn't the big battles, but the daily choice to keep going when things seem unchanged. Remember, delay is not denial. God's timing is perfect, even when it doesn't align with our expectations.
Reflect on areas in your life where you've been tempted to give up. What "good" has God called you to do that feels thankless or fruitless right now? Ask God for renewed strength and vision. Trust that He sees your faithfulness, and that no act of obedience goes unnoticed by Him.
Today, choose one small act of kindness or obedience. Do it as an offering to God, trusting Him with the results.
Reflection Questions:
- Identify an area where you've grown weary in doing good. What has been discouraging you?
- How can understanding God's timing help you remain steadfast in your actions?
Application: Choose one small act of kindness or obedience and pursue it today, offering it to God. Trust in His timing and remain patient for the results, knowing that your faithfulness is seen by Him.
