Day 2: By Faith We Walk

Nov 18, 2025

Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah all demonstrate that genuine faith is shown through obedience. They walked with God even when His promises seemed far away, trusting in a better homeland—a heavenly one. Like Abraham, we are travelers on the way to God's eternal kingdom. Our hope and security aren't based in this world but in the better home waiting for us. Walking by faith means choosing to trust God's plans over our own understanding, even when the path seems uncertain. Abraham left his homeland without knowing where he was going, simply because God called him. What is God calling you to step into today? Where do you need to walk forward in obedience, trusting that God has already prepared the way ahead?

Reflection Questions:

- What steps of faith is God calling you to take right now? Are you hesitating, and if so, why?

- How does your understanding of a heavenly homeland influence your decisions today?

Application Points:

- Write down one area where you need to trust God more and take a step forward in obedience.

- Share with a friend or a group what God is calling you to do and ask for their prayer and support.
