Day 3 - Hebrews 12:5-11
The image of God as the gardener who prunes us for greater fruitfulness can be both comforting and challenging. Today's passage reminds us that God's discipline, while painful in the moment, produces a harvest of righteousness and peace.
Reflect on seasons of "pruning" in your own life. How has God used challenges or setbacks to shape your character and deepen your faith? Are there areas where you're resisting His pruning work out of fear or a desire for comfort?
Remember, pruning is evidence that you're connected to the Vine and producing something worth refining. God's ultimate goal is your holiness and fruitfulness for His kingdom.
Application: If you're in a season of pruning, write a prayer surrendering to God's work in your life. If not, ask God to show you areas where you might need pruning for greater spiritual growth.
