Day 5: Humility and Revival
These passages remind us that humility is the soil where revival grows. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. When we humble ourselves - through sincere repentance, earnest prayer, and seeking God's face - He promises to hear, forgive, and heal.
As we conclude this week, take time for honest self-examination. Where do you need to humble yourself before God? Are there areas of pride or self-sufficiency that are hindering your spiritual growth or the move of God in your life? Remember, revival doesn't come through our striving, but through our surrendering.
Reflection Questions:
- What areas of your life require humility and repentance?
- How has pride held you back from fully experiencing God’s presence?
- What changes can you make to position yourself for spiritual renewal?
Application:
Set aside a time for personal reflection and repentance today. Write down areas of pride or self-reliance and physically lay them at the foot of a cross or another symbolic place. Pray for personal revival and commit to seeking God’s face continually, expecting Him to work in and through your life.
