Day 2: Breaking Down Walls

Jun 10, 2025

Christ came to break down the dividing walls of hostility, creating one new humanity. In our churches and communities, we often erect invisible barriers - of judgment, prejudice, or spiritual elitism. These walls, built by pride, prevent us from experiencing the fullness of God's love and the unity He desires for His people.

Consider the walls in your own life. Are there people or groups you keep at a distance? Reflect on how Christ's reconciling work on the cross challenges these divisions. How can you actively participate in breaking down walls and building bridges today?

Reflection Questions:

- What personal biases or judgments hinder your ability to fully love and accept others?

- How do these biases affect your witness as a follower of Christ?

- What is one wall you can begin to tear down this week, and how will you do it?

Application:

Identify a person or group that you feel distant from or judgmental towards. Reach out with a gesture of kindness—perhaps a conversation, a small gift, or a prayer of blessing. Be intentional in building bridges of understanding and unity.
