Day 4: Faith Looks Like Surrender, Not Certainty

Dec 25, 2025

"I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." Mary didn't ask for guarantees or demand a sign. She offered surrender. This is the tension we all face—choosing between what we believe and what we can control. Faith often means releasing our grip and trusting God's grip on us. Mary didn't have clarity, control, or certainty, but she had trust in the God who was with her. This Christmas, what would it look like to stop trying to manage everything and simply say, "God, whatever You say, let it be"? Surrender isn't weakness; it's the doorway through which God redeems our world. Your hard year isn't meant for you to hold alone—bring it to the Lord.

Reflection Question: What area of your life are you trying to control instead of surrendering to God?

Application: Choose one area of your life where you're struggling to let go of control. Consciously release this situation to God in prayer, asking Him to give you peace and trust in His plans.
