Day 3: Disruption Before Deliverance
What we celebrate as "good news" came to Mary as complete disruption—her reputation threatened, her engagement uncertain, her future unclear. God's plans are always glorious, but they're rarely convenient. The job loss, the ended relationship, the closed door—these disruptions may be God working deeper than we can see. Salvation entered the world through discomfort, misunderstanding, and sacrifice. The hardest seasons in your life might be where God is doing His greatest work. Mary's question wasn't doubt; it was faith seeking understanding: "How can this be?" God's answer? "Nothing is impossible with God." He steps into the areas where we're unqualified and does what we cannot do ourselves.
Reflection Question:
What current disruption in your life might actually be God preparing you for something greater?
Application:
Reflect on a current disruption in your life and spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal any deeper work He might be doing. Journal any insights or thoughts that come as you pray.
