Day 5: Running Together
As we conclude this devotional journey, let's remember that we don't run alone. God has placed us in a community of believers to encourage and build one another up. Our salvation in Christ unites us, giving us a shared purpose and destination.
Who in your life needs encouragement today? How can you spur them on in their race? Consider reaching out to a fellow believer, sharing a word of hope or offering to pray with them. As you do, you're not just helping them – you're participating in God's work of strengthening His church.
Remember, the race isn't about perfection, but persistence. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, run with endurance, and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.
Reflection Questions:
- How has community played a role in your spiritual race thus far?
- Who has encouraged you in your faith journey and how?
- How can you actively be a source of encouragement to your church community or faith circle?
Application:
Identify a fellow believer who might need encouragement. Send them a message, write them a note, or offer to pray with them. Make a plan to connect regularly with your faith community to strengthen one another in the race.
