Day 2: Finding Strength in Weakness

Jul 1, 2025

Our journey often takes us through valleys of weakness and struggle. Yet, it's in these low places that God's strength shines brightest. Paul's words remind us that God's grace is sufficient, even when – especially when – we feel inadequate.

Reflect on a time when you felt weak or insufficient. How did God meet you in that place? Remember, just as God dwells "in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit" (Isaiah 57:15), He is with you in your lowliness. Today, instead of trying to escape your weaknesses, bring them to God. Allow His strength to be perfected in your vulnerability.

Reflection Questions:

- Can you think of a situation where your inadequacies allowed God’s strength to be more visible?

- How does embracing your weakness change your perspective on challenges in your spiritual journey?

- In what ways can you consciously lean into God's grace when you feel weakest?

Application:

Take a moment to journal about a time when you felt weak. Reflect on how God showed His strength through your weakness. Reach out to someone today and share this story, encouraging them to trust in God’s grace.
