Day 3: Running with Endurance

Nov 26, 2025

We're surrounded by witnesses—men and women who trusted God through impossible circumstances. Their faith encourages us to lay aside every weight and sin that slows us down. But notice where we're told to fix our eyes: on Jesus. He is both the founder and perfecter of our faith, the one who started it and the one who will complete it. Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him—the joy of bringing you home. When you grow weary in your struggle, consider Him. He faced hostility, betrayal, suffering, and death, yet persevered. Your Savior knows what endurance costs, and He walks beside you in every hard moment. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not your circumstances.

Reflection Questions:

- Who are some of the "witnesses" in your life whose faith encourages you to persevere?

- What “weights” or “sins” are hindering your race, and how can you begin to lay them aside?

- What does keeping your eyes on Jesus look like in your daily life amidst distractions?

Application Points:

- Identify one practical step to remove a distraction or sin that is slowing your spiritual race.

- Reach out to someone whose faith inspires you and thank them for their example.

- Each day, intentionally spend a few moments focusing on Jesus—reflect through prayer, scripture, or worship music.
