The Pop-Up Food Pantry has two values at its core: Community and Service. We want to be a connection point for those in need and offer assistance through fighting the prevalence of food insecurity within our immediate community and surrounding areas. This includes: Piscataway, Dunellen, Somerset, Plainfield, and South Plainfield, to name a few cities.
Since we began in May of 2021, we have seen exponential growth in attendance to our monthly distributions. Consider this your official invitation to join us! Whether you are in need of food assistance, or are looking to give back...We have a place for everyone!

To all our guests, this is our promise: you will always be treated with dignity and respect. We value you as you are and maintain a no questions asked policy! We understand, hard times hit all of us and we would never want you to suffer in silence.
Looking for a way to give back?
Volunteers make the mission of the Pop-Up Food Pantry possible! We accept any and everyone who has a willing heart to serve to come and help at our distributions!
Come by and volunteer for either the Setup or Breakdown shift or stay the whole day! Serve on our registration team, table team (to help stock the food and reload as needed), or a personal shopper (help select and load the food into the cars of our guests). There is a place and role for everyone!

This will help us meet our expenses and achieve our mission to provide fresh, quality, healthy food, FREE OF COST, to our community!
