Day 2: Embracing Vulnerability

May 27, 2025

In a world that often values strength and self-sufficiency, God's Word reminds us that our weaknesses can become channels for His grace. Paul's words challenge us to be honest about our struggles and limitations. Like the community described in the sermon, where people shared openly about their challenges, we are called to create safe spaces for vulnerability. How might your relationships change if you were more open about your needs and imperfections? Consider sharing a current struggle with a trusted friend or small group, allowing them to pray for and encourage you. Remember, it's in our weakness that Christ's power is made perfect.

Reflection Questions:

- What fears or hesitations do you have about being vulnerable with others regarding your struggles?

- How has sharing your weaknesses in the past allowed for greater community and connection with God and others?

- In what ways can you create or contribute to a safe space for vulnerability at your church or within your circle?

Application:

Take a step towards vulnerability by sharing one specific area of struggle with a trusted friend or group this week. Invite them to support you through prayer and encouragement, and make it a point to reciprocate the vulnerability.
