Day 1: Courage in the Face of Fear
God's command to Joshua echoes through the ages: "Be strong and courageous." These words weren't spoken to a fearless warrior, but to a man facing enormous challenges. Like Joshua, we often stand at the threshold of daunting tasks or uncertain futures.
God doesn't rebuke Joshua for feeling fear; instead, He provides the antidote: His presence. "For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." This promise is the foundation of our courage. It's not about mustering our own strength, but relying on God's unwavering presence.
Reflect:
- What "Jordan" are you facing today?
- How does God's promise of His presence change your perspective on this challenge?
Action Step:
Write down your biggest fear. Next to it, write "God is with me." Meditate on this truth throughout your day.
