Day 1: Confronting Anger with God's Love
Anger, a common yet complex emotion, is addressed by Paul in Ephesians as something that need not lead to sin if managed properly. We should acknowledge its presence but strive to handle it under God's guidance. Consider moments where your anger surfaced. Was your expression justified and constructive, or hurtful and destructive? Seek God’s assistance in identifying the root causes of your anger, asking Him to fill you with love and patience.
Reflection Questions:
- When was the last time you felt anger, and what was its root?
- How did your response align with the call to kindness and forgiveness?
Application:
Identify someone you need to forgive. Pray for them today, asking God to help you release any bitterness and replace it with compassion. Then take a tangible step towards reconciling, whether through a note, a conversation, or an act of kindness.
