God is Faithful

Jan 19, 2025    Pastor Marcus Jackson

Our sermon explored Mark 4:35-41, where Jesus calms the storm on the Sea of Galilee. This passage reminds us that God is faithful in every season of life, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. We learned that God's presence, peace, and power are constant, regardless of the challenges we face. The sermon emphasized that while following Jesus doesn't prevent storms in our lives, His presence makes all the difference as we navigate through them.

Takeaways:

God's faithfulness is not dependent on our faith. Even when we doubt, Jesus remains true to His character and promises.

We can experience God's peace amidst chaos. Just as Jesus slept peacefully during the storm, we too can find rest in knowing God is in control.

No storm is beyond God's authority. The same power that calmed the Sea of Galilee is available to us in our daily struggles.
