Tithing isn’t about rules—it’s about relationship. At its core, biblical tithing means giving the first 10% of your income back to God as an act of trust, obedience, and worship. It’s a reminder that everything we have comes from Him and that He is our true source—not our job, not our bank account. Tithing isn’t about God needing our money—it’s about us needing to keep Him first. It teaches obedience, breaks greed, and invites God’s blessing into every area of our lives. When it comes to tithing, Biblical stewardship say that we are making decisions about God's money because we belong to him. Which means tithing is not us giving God 10% of our money. Tithing is God letting me keep 90% of His.

1. Tithing sustains the work of God’s house.
Malachi 3:10 — “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house…”

Proverbs 3:5–6, 9 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.”
